History
MarJen Kennels has been showing and breeding quality American Cocker Spaniels and English Bulldogs for more than 20 years. Jean Martin began grooming and showing cockers at the age of 10. She has titled dogs in obedience, agility, and flyball, as well as conformation. Her love for animals led her to a career that started as a receptionist at an animal clinic and has blossomed into further education as a Veterinary Technician. In 1998, she met her future husband, Bobby Martin. Jean’s love for her dogs and competition showing inspired her husband. Thus the English Bulldog was added to their stable. In an effort to improve the breeds, MarJen Kennels follows a rigid breeding process. They are very cautious with not only the breeders they associate with, but also the homes to which their puppies go. All puppies sold are done so on contract, and only to good suitable homes.
